I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35
About Us
Who We Are
We are a ministry of Jesus Christ. While we are supported by local churches, we operate autonomously as a small 503(c)(3) non-profit organization.
|
Our Mission
Our mission is to serve our neighbors with food for the body. This in turn gives us the opportunity to share Jesus Christ, the spiritual food for the soul.
|
Brief History
Breakfast was first served, 2001, in a park within the Frenchtown community of Tallahassee, FL. Hence the name for which our organization was born. Later we moved to The Haven of Rest where we served breakfast for many years. Now we serve breakfast on location at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church where we have been graciously allowed to serve the community.

Volunteer Information
Frenchtown Breakfast serves one Saturday morning a month. See the service calendar below for specific dates and time.
Location
Trinity Missionary Baptist Church
704 W. Fourth Ave. Tallahassee, FL. (parking behind the church available) |
What to Expect
Our basic needs begin with cooking duties that include cooking over a flat grill for pancakes, frying pans for sausage and eggs. A distribution point requires the volunteers to pull each of the food items together into calm shell type to-go boxes along with juice boxes, prepackaged utensils etc. Several support rolls for these stations are also available. Children are allowed to help in support long as they are supervised by an adult.
And most importantly, the additional help allows volunteers comfortable with praying with those looking for a hot meal and prayer to do so. |
